1 Can anyone tell me how to accurately import an address book into Xiamain from Outlook. I have imported addresses from Outlook into Thunderbird as csv files. Then exported them from thunderbird as ldif files and imported them into Xiaman. Parts of the addresses are correct but other parts such as street address e.g. only lists the postcode. Similar experiences with Mesilla address book and Contact.
2 Also if one purchases a PCMCIA modem which ones are recommended that work with Mandrake 10?

Limited research shows most are compatible. Once PCMCIA, yenta_socket & cardmgr are enabled, the modem gets picked up as a standard serial UART & made available thru ttySx (x has been = to 0, 3 or 6, on my setups).

2nd-hand PCMCIA modems are in short supply; new c$99. The only incompatible models I have heard of are Brightcom, & a different/difficult platform is Texas Instruments, apparently.

What does Windows identify your onboard modem as, specifically? It may be useable.

3 When starting up (Mandrake) the startup hangs on "bringing up interface ethos" - spends time looking or doing whatever its doing and eventually "fails". Is there anything that is able to be done not to have to sit through this each time?
Any help appreciated.
