The backpaq is a PCMCIA device, and seems to work through the Familiar
distro's pcmcia module.

Control over the user interface, Palm Pilot emulation, multi-tasking,
ogg file palyback, rsync with my Linux home directory and so forth.

If you get a Palm, do make sure you get one with a decent CPU in it. The
old C's are a bit sluggish.

If I got a wireless iPaq, I'd make sure I had a CF slot too for cheap
expandable storage.
