yes its certainly a good ideas to back up the partition table, but I don't think there was anything wrong withthe table. The problem seems to be win 98 thinking its file system is 10G, whereas the its partition is 5G, therefore over wrote the subsequent partitions. -- Nick Rout <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
