Snoopy can still see when that connection is being established, how
often, and when and how much data is transferred. I don't believe
there's a big difference with sending encrypted emails. The newer
pgp/mime encrypts the whole body including attachments[1]. You just
have to remember that headers are never encrypted and therefore to
leave the subject empty.

being able to verify signatures with pgp/mime.
