Roughly what is involved in organising the fix-up session?
We can put out a call for volunteers and victims a bit closer to the time.
People should BYO extension leads and multiboxes.
Do we need an additional hub/switch and network leads?
What about tables & chairs?
If someone wants to do a first-time install, can we have Suse disks available (only by pre-order)? There are a few of the installer disks (with qtParted) floating around from the Installfest (I have one).

Chris, how have you gotten on with the St Albans booking? If you go for the last week of October or the first week in November, that would place it cleanly between the next two Sydenham meetings.
We now have a booking for the St. Albans Community Centre on:-

The current plan is to have an AGM type meeting to decide whether we wish to move to St. Albans for our meetings, and to elect a bunch of suckers^H^H^H^H a group of esteemed members to be your committee.
As there are two rooms, and group politics are not always to everybody's taste, we could have a concurrent fix-ups session. There are two members who have indicated to me that want to continue working with their Gentoo setups. There is also an ordinary POTS line so modems could be configured.
Looking forward to some highspeed access..
Don't get too over enthusiastic, it's only Jetstart at 128 KBits.
Hopefully we will be able to re-jig the router to give full speed to linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz ( Anybody know how to do this? )
