On the other hand it is probably simpler to use the Win. utility called 'putty' to copy the file over to the Linux machine. Ubuntu appears to have the ssh utilities. http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html Download this onto the windows machine to move the file.
