Greetings people! :)
Yes, we tend to forget where we've come from... By the way, this is
written and sent in ubuntu... ;) Great! Still some things to
figure/configure with Linux/ubuntu... :$ Takes time, and patience...
Thanks again for all the help. :)
The internet connection is working fine... just be good to get the GUI
dial up feature working okay (it won't "activate" the connection). Kinda
weird, as it must run on top of wvdial...? And wvdial works okay... :)
Nick did a great job of getting the modem up and running under
ubuntu... :) Well done! Bravo! May blessings flow to you! :)
Right now am looking for a browser for Linux that will play sounds in
websites...? Mozilla Firefox (which comes with ubuntu) won't, and
doesn't appear to have a setting to allow it... (Microsoft Internet
Explorer does)! :( Anyone know a good browser for ubuntu that will do
sound/audio in web pages? MSFrontpage builds .wav files into sites...
(gets a little complicated). :$ Unfortunately Mozilla Firefox 0.9.3
won't play ANY sound files in web sites! :( Some sites do have audio
built in... So... Help! Oh my God! Yes, patience... ;)
