Joking aside, why haven't Gartner or some other unbiased ( snigger ) company done this already?
One of the sad things about this human existance is the large number of humans who like to disagree with each other. It doesn't matter if the 'truth' one person speaks is blindingly obvious...someone else somewhere will disagree with it. I now believe that to be an inescapable blight on our existance, so expecting IT publications and the like to bring about a fair judgment on Linux vs. Windows is expecting the near impossible. I actually think it best that stupid Windows zealots who suck in all that FUD about insecure Linux keep thinking that way, and that we step away from arguing pointlessly about something *we* know for real. When the ubervirus is released that destroys Windows as we know it we'll know we've made the right choice...
