Hi,
When you are looking for a modem look for one that you can set in
bridged mode, meaning that the red interface appears to be directly
connected to the net. This makes ipcop handle all the nasties and there
are no firewall or nat to stuff it up. From memory the dse xh1149 can
do this - i am not sure though, it was discussed on the ipcop list
about dse adsl modems in nz, go have a look.
