All right, we have had three ruckus moments on the list recently, but by the 
list behaviour here is pretty good when compared with lists hosted elsewhere 
in the world.

The reason people feel they can flout the normal standards of civility, when 
on the net is simply that they often protected by anonymity and that actually 
coming face to face with their correspondents is extremely unlikely. This 
seems to affect people in that they forget the normal social inhibitions.

One of the nice things about CLUG is that we do meet from time to time in the 
real life situation, and that means that we tend to be a collection of 
friends with a common interest.

Only two members could not bear to be separated from their miniature Linux 
'puters.
