I think you should consider buying or copying it. I used about 5 gb on my system and when you have the CDs you can reinstall it quite easily. And one more tip: After the installation restart immediately. Every time I waited to long on my system I had to reinstall because X didn't work anymore. Strange, but who understands computers?
