I use Slingshot dailup... I just configured it to the phone #
give my email name as my login name and give my password (just like i did with windows 9x and w2k. Now if your email name isnt the same as your login name (due to having multiple email address then you use the PRIMARY email name. eg I have 2 (with another having email redirected to one of the other 2) [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> redirected to my slingshot account [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> this is my primary email account and to login to the email server or the members section i use bossman (simple :->) now the other account is my wifes and it has its own username and password that i could use to login with (at the server or webmail). Now the pairing is .... username bossman password my pass word for logging onto the website or webmail or through modem (dailup or cable/adsl etc). hope ive helped. to test your password etc on another box goto the slingshot website top right side enter in your email name (eg bossman) then the password your now in the members section and can look at various things to do with your account. I think slingshot doesnt handle chap (cause when ive tried i fail to get logged in). dave.
