Hi, I just installed this last night on a laptop. It did it twice (because I can). The first time I was not connected to a network, and I managed to get KDE installed and working. The second time I happened to be connected to a network and so I was able to get security updates *before* completing the install. The second time around KDE would not install, due to a bunch of broken dependencies.
Has anyone tried 3.0 r4 recently and had the same problem? I might try again tonight (unless there is another security update that fixes it) and this time I will install everything before connecting to the network for security updates. There are a couple of things that are "tidied up" in r4, so apart from the KDE oddness it's quite nice. Thanks, Andy
