what about the 802.11g card? (if yours has one)

whats the battery life like? I would have thought an A64, eben a mobile
version, might chew through it.

what X server are you using?

Nice specs on that dse one, 60G hard drive, .5G RAM, 16:10 screen -
sweet in a notebook.
