Well the problem is that not many people have a decent scanner, especially with a sheet feeder. That limits the emailabilty of anything you have with, for example, a signature on it. You can chuck a doc on the fax and walk away. You can't on many consumer grade scanners, they are flat bed, for a 20 page doc its a real drag to scan it in order to email it. Also decent network fax software for windows (for an office environment) is expensive. Everyone can understand a fax machine, even secretaries. Which brings me to a favourite rave - why don't secretaries know how to use a computer?
