I have got downloads of Fedora, Knoppix, KDe and Gentoo. I am however having
trouble figuring out where to get a download of debian.

I have been to the jetstream games site mentioned by CS but mostly find gz
files. I presume debian is a source disto only? No binary files?

With gentoo I can create a disk and go from there, with Fedora there are
binaries ... Is there are 'stage 1' disk for debian or do i need to make a
small boot disk, get the source code and go from there.

Also a question in a similar vein ... am looking at converting my iPaq to
linux. found lots on opie and other desktops for it but they all quite using an
ipaq 29xx or 5xxx but not the 4300 and 4100 models. Anyone with any experience
of linux on iPaq and those models?

Want to use the iPaq for wardriving my sites, downloading stats, vnc support on
the fly and ssh to servers for on the road support of clients. Seems to me
the linux way is better for all these things than WinCe.
