I'm just rebuilding my desktop with Ubuntu504. The same is on my laptop, where it has been running for a while. Since I am on dialup & there are updates & packages used I could avoid downloading again, please..
How do I find & setup my Ubuntu packages, with a transfer from one computer to another? A new, local apt repository at the recieving end?
I have some SMB shares working (sort of) - is there another Export method I should be using?
So far it's all quite smooth. Mail import will be the final catch. Firestarter 1.0.1 has been a godsend. :-)
