I'll add a further satisfied customer report, having been on dialup with
iNet.net.nz for 5+ years (it merged into Snap). On Deane's news, I will
be evaluating the move to their Jetstream service, in comparison to
Telstra, probably this year.
Snap lost my entire website one New Year (upgrade?.. disk failure I
think). They didn't treat reinstating it as their responsibility, or
even something they were much aware of, so I have kept a more cogent
backup filestore ever since. Other than that, it's hard to pick a fault.
Just a day's host downtime since I started business (reduced if I had
been prepared for it). Rarely do I get a busy signal, and it's always
gone by redial time.
Most of what I have had to phone Snap about (sometimes there's a short
wait there) is domains, all which issues they have resolved speedily for
me. Email helpdesk does mostly suffice; there's none often needed. Spam
is filtered at this end, so far. I wonder if Xtracom will be getting
involved there?..
