Whilst browsing lifehacker.com I found this: http://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/011/firstcss It's a very quick tutorial, and in about an hour I had added it to a real (but simple) web page. http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/oldslaughterhouse/ (shameless plug). It looks very similar to the tutorial... It was fun to do (and I learned something) and made the page a little more interesting than plain old HTML. Other tools I used were ImageMagick to tweak the photo, and The GIMP to edit the map. I drew the two NZ maps using TUMONZ (a non-free Windows only mapping package, with data for all of New Zealand) and stuck them together with The GIMP. HTH, Andy
