No. I have tried to think of anything that might cause this, but no. My systems run so well they don't need to be changed... =;^) Seriously though, I was busy this weekend and had no time to tinker. I think my last apt-get update/upgrade was a week ago and there was nothing to do. I am now using a Linux box running VNC over ssh, and I expected it to have dropped the connection by now, but it's fine. I think the 'dropping of connection' problem is incidental, and I am more concerned about the IP address problem. Thanks guys, good suggestions so far, but I think I need to ask Paradise these questions that Craig has listed. [You know, I was just about to hit the 'send' button and what should happen.
