I should have mentioned previously, no problems connecting or
downloading from work (some sort of Telecom connection).
My friend logged this with Paradise helpdesk a few days ago, but no
useful response yet.

So my recent experience with trying to download some largish files and having
to restart the download again and again and again, isn't just _my_ problem!?
That's a relief! ;)

Yeah, me too, and someone else on the same Paradise subnet as me.
We can connect using wget or links, but any graphical browser (firefox/
linux, firefox/win, ie/win) gets through very, very intermittantly.
Other OSTG sites seem fine.

Hi Chris,
I've tired to access Sourceforge through Gentoo, WindowsXP (both Firefox)
and Jaguar (Safari) through my Paradise/XTRA ADSL link without success on
ALL accounts. It's trying to download data from the site though. I've had
the same problem trying to access Inkscape.org as well. Most annoying.
NEWSFLASH>>>>
The Mac got through, but it's really slow. Almost as if they're running on
half their servers, with the usual number of people trying to access the
site. Result ---- bottlenecks and slow loading times upstream.

Peter Burke

Subject: Connecting to SourceForge
Greets List,
Is anybody else on Paradise cable having difficulty connecting to
SourceForge?
Thanks.
