Check your power budget, esp the 12V line. Is the PSU strong enough? Did you add a fancy new graphics card? More drives? The PSU's output power can decrease with age (more so on cheaper models). To test, remove all optical drives but the burner, disconnect hard disks you don't need, and pull out all cards which have a big heat sink or a fan on them.
