Kia ora, Just reinstalled Ubuntu 5.10 on my machine, but last time I got my Lucent Agere modem working I didn't document the process!
I'm oh so close - my modem dials, connects and then immediately disconnects. I'm using gnome-ppp. Any suggestions as to what the culprit may be or how to diagnose? Cheers Matt
