Fixup might be better, if there is an aerial available. Also you might be better to join the mythtv mailing list (ref'd off the mythtv.org page) or the mythtv-nz list http://lists.ourshack.com/mailman/listinfo/mythtvnz (disclaimer - I am the list owner but get no benefit from it). Anyway, assuming you want to carry on discussing on this list. To change the setting to ALSA simply type it in there, you can type anything in, you don't need to choose one of the menu items. There is no built in mythfilldatabase option for NZ, you need to roll your own. There are some suggestions in the knoppmythwiki, or ask on the mythtvnz list (or search its archives) there has been a lot of discussion about it.
