While I have been offered excellent help from the mailing list and I
appreciate.

I am still far away from configuring my system so I can use it for every day
use.

To quote from Robert fisher
There are heaps of people on this list who are prepared to help you in
various
ways. The communication problem is probably because the email senders and
recipient are at a different level - a common occurrence with emai."

The link you sent me for support would not cover my needs even if it was
within my price range.

I would be quite happy to pay class fees to go in a class with other people
of the same level as me and pay the same kind of money that is charged for
other computer courses at poly or similar places.

I have tried to pick my words carefully here because I do not want to offend
anyone but I do believe more could be done to help new users become
proficient with an o/s that is miles different to windows or mac and
therefore needs the resources for us newbies.
