Do you have the thinkpad kernel module loaded? It's under the acpi
stuff.
Yes, acpi and ibm_acpi are both loaded and working.
But, I was able to load the hotkey kernel module only once. While that
module enabled all of the keys, now I can't load it, and it moans about a
device being unavailable. So I now have a subset of keys active, but what
I just don't 'get' is how to make them do what you want them to do.
If I make it tonight I'll bring my R51 along for you to try it out on
different hardware.
