Well anyone on yobbo has a 10.252.x.x address, so it is pretty easy to
put a route on your firewall that directs all 10.252.x.x traffic out to
the yobbo connection. [1]

Obviously you need to know which machine you want to connect to. The
network is probably small enough to handle name resolution
through /etc/hosts perhaps updated rsync. You'd probably want some sort
of directory, eg a machine that has a list of other services, even if
it is as simple as a bookmark page.

You'd also need to have a well organised group of people prepared to
spend a good proportion of their monthly allowance on mirroring
whatever distro was their part of the bargain.

[1] I understand the setup is:

All network addresses are based on 10.252.x.x 252 being the Yobbo
Christchurch network.

* 10.252.1.1 = Default gateway to LAN with windows2000(FTP server)
server and Linux server(fourums) internet uplink etc.
* 10.252.16.1 = Default gateway for Riccarton Subnet
* 10.252.24.1 = Default gateway for City Subnet
* 10.252.32.1 = Default gateway for Linwood Subnet
