Thanks Rob, much appreciated. Installing pfsense and ipcop on a Duron 600 takes about 10 minutes. Would the audience wait that long? Endian needs ages to install, so that's a pre-pared business, so to say. Each box should have 3 NICs, these firewalls militantly refuse any configuring for NICs which aren't there. They don't have to be connected, existance is sufficient. Someone would need to lend wifi gear. I'd like 3 boxes, for ipcop, endian and pfsense... No, I haven't ruled out Xen yet.
