eth1 will iwlist scan --> ap11g - the AP.

normal stuff, expect it said the ap was invalid.

I think next step I'll take is to have another quick go with u6 now that I can see how it's meant to hang together.

But that involves dragging out a network cable again and I'm in front of the TV with Joanna, so it will wait till Monday afternoon.

I think I will also repat the fxd and put /home on a seperate pat. I didn't understand the benefit of doing that.

I also haven't tried out the gparted cd yet.  Might do that next as well.
