re:Installing Mepis

I have had  one go at installing the Mepis Disk (thanks to Robert 
dropping it off this mng), I selected Normal Boot and it got as far as 
asking for a password but would not respond to any key on the keyboard, 
so not sure  what I did wrong(probably something Simple or Stupid) so 
crashed out of it.
I will try to have another look later this afternoon when I get home
and see if I can get it to install.... or did I select the wrong one??
