Actually in your last message to the list you told us you had tried boot/boot, 
now you say it was root/root. Perhaps you have tried both. Perhaps you haven't. 
It sounds like the X windows system is not starting properly. I think it is 
best to wait for someone to come around and see you. Many members will do that 
for nothing. Sounds like you might have Robert primed to do that. Cheers.

Hell no, its just fine. Just remember to be precise in your questions and 
answers, and read all the replies - it pays to get your mail client to sort 
mail from the list into a folder by themselves.

Have you actually read any linux beginners guides? It might pay. Theres plenty 
of stuff online.
