I'm not too certain you need cat6 - are you going 10gig? Networking shouldn't be any problem, wired or wireless, although many of the older distros required manual builds to get hardware supported. I use atheros based hardware wherever possible to get wireless connectivity, as the madwifi project is very well supported. Steve
