No. If you recall, we were able to successfully connect with the settings as they were, using an external modem. By all means, select 'PAP' to be consistent with your Windows settings. I'm glad you've started poking around- you might find some modem setup strings in Windows too. They tend to be a bit cryptic though... Andrew
