re:Dynalink Modem

With the failure to connect using the Dynalink Modem,(disconnecting 
error 10) using kppp and wvdial, and in Minicom not accepting the input 
of user name and password.......
should I be looking at the options file settings or modem commands or 
somwhere else??
In all cases I am dialing out and  getting connected but thats as far as 
it goes yet.
