re:Dynalink Modem

well an interesting but frustrating afternoon spent with Paul Parkyn 
trying to get
the Dynalink Modem to connect. Sorted it out on Windows and it connects 
fine there now.
However after going through everything we still finish up getting the 
error 10, also tried connecting to Paul's own ISP with the same failure,
Ran Kubuntu off the CD and tried with that, and  got several error 1 
disconnects  and one connect where it was running ppp and just sat there 
and did nothing.... so there is still something queer with the set up.
