well I have put the line
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 vfat defaults,umask=000 0 0
into the fstabs file and commented out the other line.
now I dont know if this should bring up the hdb1 folder onto the desktop
or is there something else I should be doing.
I was going to try and find the folder that the desktop is in and see if
I could
copy it over or should I maybe using a /mnt command to put it there??
I have not as yet tried to sort out the kopete set up.
I didnt ring you last night as it was too late by the time I got back
onto the
computer
