Actually most reputable brands have postscript options as far as I know. I install printers for Xerox and all but the cheap desktop Xerox printers have a PS option which allows them to be used in Graphics environments and with Macs and Linux. The Xerox salepeople are told that as a rule of thumb, if the client has Macs or Linux then sell them PS as well and they will be fine. I would find it hard to believe that other manufacturers would leave themselves vulnerable and not offer the same options. Having said that, I have had numerous occasions where non-Xerox suppliers do not have the "expertise" to connect their machines to different OS's. Rob
