Hi Again All,
I went ahead an got a new box for home, it's been running very happily
with KUbuntu, apache, php, postgres, PHPeclipse, xdebug and a few other
bits and pieces. Adept is an incredible piece of work, I'm really
impressed by the ease of install & setup and the range of software.
I set up the work one today, which was just as trivial to do up to one
point. The network is wireless and, while the card is recognised, I
can't access anything on the lan, I can't ping anything local or remote
either. I have the WEP(?) Key entered and DHCP selected but nothing is
happening. Google's not giving me much, apart from disabling eth0 -
which I'll try tomorrow.
Any good How-to's or ideas you can point me to? So far the office input
has been very +ve and I've only heard one - I didn't know Linux had a
GUI! comment,
Cheers,
Andy
