Seriously, Use IRC. I have been absolutely amazed how quickly one gets working answers to problems. Together with regional channels, all the major projects and Linux distributions have channels on irc.freenode.net:6667 Traffic gets a bit light in the afternoon, our time, when most of both the Americans and the Europeans are asleep, but the channels for all the major projects are in operation 24/7. The freenode logon dialog tells me:- * 13941 :channels formed * I have 244 clients and 0 servers * Current global users: 30056 Max: 36656 If one of those 30056 folk doesn't know the answer to your problem I'd be exceptionally surprised.
