yep, cheers for your help Rik. No progress with the screen. Haven't started installation of Feisty yet. But, running off the live disk I still have the same screen issues. I've emailed Visual Group Auckland/Philips saying I'm still not happy, that I had no issues like this before with my previous screen and why given its the same model should I need to change anything as far as drivers go..
