It's none of those.  Note that I said _proprietary_ drivers.  I don't know
(or care, I won't use them) what the package names for the proprietary
NVIDIA/ATI drivers are... you'll need to work it out yourself and see if
they have ever been installed, and, if they have, whether they've messed
with your standard Mesa/libGL install.  If it's a fresh install of the
distro on this hardware, you can probably just assume they've never been
installed.

It could be that the Intel driver from universe is somewhat broken.  Switch
back to the i810 driver and see if that works.  You might need to use
i915resolution to get the correct display resolution when running with the
i810 driver.

Maybe what's shipped with Feisty is just broken for your configuration.
File a bug in Launchpad if you're still stuck.
