Um, what problem are you experiencing?  What distro, hardware, X

The reason it was in brackets was because I wasn't asking about that
at this stage. That's what I meant by "I'll get back to that".  :-)  I
was asking how to interpret the output of the libgl debug command.
That is, I want to get 3d acceleration working before worrying about
dual monitors.

It seems like you can safely ignore those warnings.  As far as
i915resolution, you don't need it with the newer i810/Intel drivers.

You don't need it, you can ignore that error completely.
