Thanks for the replies folks. I've ordered a mini-itx M/B as it's cheap. I think it might be a bit too power hungry, so if that fails PC104 modules will be the way I go from Jenlogix up in AKL.
And if the Mini itx doesn't work for the turbines I can replace the old 486 laptop that runs my weather station project! :-). (More toys I don't have time to play with)
