Same way as any other windows machine. Short answer: - run wubi.exe It works OK (better than expected, but not as good as a full install.)
Longer answer: - you need to allow for a separate partition when you install Windows. If you need to shrink an existing partition to make room, google for help. - install Ubuntu after installing Windows. It will recognise Windows exists and allow for it in the bootloader. - the only quirk I have noticed with Vista is that it has it's own bootloader that doesn't play nicely with grub. I haven't tried to fix it because it works, but you end up with having to go through both bootloaders to start Ubuntu. Not a major drama. Even longer answer: Why would you want to? Ubuntu kicks Vista's a. - D On Tue, Sep 9, 2008 at 6:10 PM, David Merrick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > What is the best way to run Ubuntu on a Windows Vista machine? > > -- > David Merrick > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Ph 03 3590 343 > Cell 027 3089 169 >
