Yup, although maximizing stuff stops at one screen. You need to manually resize
across both. Grab a side/corner and pull.
All panels seem non-grabbable for such resizing, regardless of the
"expand" and other properties of that panel. Can move them around,
change height, add items, etc. But they defy all efforts to resize
horizontally with the mouse - puzzling . . .
And I couldn't live with only one screen any more (:
It's one reason I like coming to work and don't like going home ;-)
