I wouldn't hesitate to take a $1.95 item back to Bunnings for a full refund (been there, done that) just to make the point that no matter what the price, it has to work. But turning the Warehouse filter on at Bunnings helps to save time. Btw throw the sometimes-works one out right now - one day you'll plug a heater into it and run a good risk of burning your house down. "Mostly works" is not acceptable when it comes to power.
