Not this list (users-linux) but the general-linux list. This list was
wisely created to handle such things. While we all enjoy a good flame
war from time to time there are those on the list who at the particular
time a hissy fit or flame war breaks out either are not interested or
are trying to get a little Linux help. For some strange reason, they end
up trying to be the peacemakers and following the bibical injuction,"
blessed be the peacemakers for they shall get hit in the head from both
sides." end up dragged into it. For this reason the General list was
created. After a reasonable time all such disputes should taken there.

As for the current dispute further discissions of whether Les walks on
water or has fried penguin for lunch should continue on the general
list. The same for insults directed at Herb because he wants install 2.4
because he feels he's locked into it.
