Unfortunately (a) the default security settings on the w2k machines seem to
be too open, (b) there have been numerous security holes in Microsoft's
software including IIS, and SQL Server to name just 2, and (c) Microsoft's
attempts at security have been deeply flawed, to the point that they're
termed ``Kindergarten Cryptographer'' mistakes by some security
professionals.
