I'm confused. Is there any real functional change to the code, or is it just a reorg? I've been using the original 2.4.20 XFS patch since it came out, and haven't had any problems.

Essentially it's an individual breakup of the core XFS programs used. Instead of the "all" patch as a single update, they're broken down into individual packages such as kdb, dmapi, acl, etc. Same product, different packaging. In most cases, the "all" patch would be used, in certain situations the individual package is desired instead, especially if it's being built for a different platform where the "all" patch would be inappropriate. Imagine an Amiga running UNICOS from Cray on an XFS filesystem. (extreme example, but you get the idea)
