Obviously, you have no idea at all about Linus Torvalds or you wouldn't
say this foolishness.

Who died and left "Lindows" the gods of Linux? The only thing "it runs
XP" tells me is that it has scads of RAM and a hefty CPU.

Enjoy Windoze. My mother (age 83+) hates it and thinks Linux is great.
This is a woman who I have to constantly remind that:
if it has an @ sign in it, it's an e-mail address (use Sylpheed) and
if it has www.whatever.com it's a web address (use Mozilla)
Linux passes the ease of use test over Windoze in my family with folks
who can't even figure out how to turn the bloody things on (like my 4
year old daughter). XP is so frustrating, the first time I saw it at a
clients' site, 20 minutes later I gave up trying to figure out how the
fsck to configure networking (the twisty maze of incoherent questions in
the networking wizard had me so confused I just told the client they
were on their own). 106+ Operating Systems use ifconfig and route. So
naturally, those don't exist on Windoze. Just how the hell _do_ you
configure networking on XP?

Have fun with Windoze (say goodbye to your $$$$$$$ and your sanity while
you're at it).
